Happiness is a state of mind!! ‪#‎Story_3‬

I was born in a slum, but the slum wasn't born in me..
Meet Pooja, A slum girl who is 6 years old live in Soldier Bazar Karachi.! She is s busy cracking beans with a stone in her hand, an innocent smile on her face, a kind of sparkle in her eyes that makes you forget all your worries and then again...that stone in her hand...but she doesn't care about it because it seems as if she considers that piece of stone as the world's most expensive gadget.
She might not know about all the luxuries in life or the expensive lifestyles but she seems to know one simple formula of a life which is ‪#‎happines‬ One simple formula of a peaceful life**
She has two sisters, they refused to take their picture as they feel uncomfortable, but the Question is, who is responsible? Who is responsible to take her to school, to give her clean and hygienic food. Is she not Human?
Why she is getting ignored by the society?
Around 68 percent of women and girls in Pakistan are subjected to sexual harassment, according to the latest Human Rights Watch (HRW) data.
So are we taking any bold steps to save our next generation from this?
Soon this girl will becoming adult, What are we people waiting for? To soon hear about other another case?
Give protection, they are our future..
Spread happiness, they need your attention.

Happiness is a state of Mind..!! Story 2

The opposite of love is not hate, the opposite of love is ignorance.
Brian Hwang.

On recent visit to #Gillani #Station, which is itself a story that is untold, ignored by the Karachians and the Government. While roaming here and there at the old station, I find a guy sitting at the platform on his dirty bed which is his whole property in this city of lights. I approached him and managed to ask him some questions. His name is Mohammad Shabbir, I am narrating his story in his own words.

Happiness is a state of mind :)

Abraham lincoln has truly said we can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses. While some underpriveleged out there living on the other side of the bridge of Karachi, they collect moments not things, they earn respect not money, and enjoy little happiness in life not luxuries.

But still they are ignored by the society.

Meet Sally.
A 9 years old, resident of Eesa Nagri.

"Yeh tumhari dukaan haai"
"Nahe, dadi ki, Main parhti hon subah school jati hon aur school se a k dukaan p bethti hon.

"Sab say achi baat kia haai is dukaan ki?"
"Main jo chahun free main khaa leti hun." *naughty expressions*

"Doston ko free main deti ho cheez?"
"Umm.. Bilkul nahe. Paisay leti hun sabse. Bus khud free main khaati hun."

In life, at times the finest luxuries can't beat the happiness that a poor person can find within the hurdles of their life.
May be they are not capable enough of meeting their basic life necessities but, they are strong enough to find a reason to smile. :')

Appreciate others, they need it

Gillani Railway Station

Gillani Railway Station abandoned railway station on Karachi Circular Railway loop line in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, In past it is a beautiful station but just take a look at the recent pictures that how this is ruined by lack of resources and care. The Question is who is responsible for this big loss? Either Governement or the local public that was using it in the past? The land is in no use but some homeless people are living there which no one cares. While visiting this place we get to know some untold stories and rumours about the place, meeting one person name Shabbir living there for last 15 years and he is homeless, railway station is his bedroom said that, "The last train that come on this railway station was 10 years back, he also added that a boys commit sucuide there by jumping on the bridge, there is also one story being circulated on the station that is of CHURAIL (witch) rides a horse which has no head. This story seems strange with no reality but it is a fact that if you leave a place like this definitely it will gonna be the place of some mysterious persons with some wrong motives, who for their own good spread rumors and false stories to spread fear in the area for local peoples to avoid visiting it in order to continue their actions easily.

There are no signs of train, no signs of human but still local and rubbish advertisement is there to recall the general public about their existence. Still the building structure is in it real form but don't know when our Govt will take some action and pay attention to this railway station which is almost forgotten by the local public.

The picture of the railway track shows that it is still in running condition, but cant find the reason of ignorance from the Govt. Railway play an important role in developing countries to control traffic jams but here in our city situation is different, if local train start circulating from Gulshan to City Station convering other stations as well the problem of many people will be solved easily.

Dont be confused, This is not the picture of any historical building or ruin from Moin jo Daro, this is the picture of Gillani Station's Booking office, that how this building is getting worse day by day just because of lack of attention. This this station is temporarily abandoned then when it will start again? And if it is permanently abandoned, then what is the purpose of wasting such a great piece of land for no good. This place can be utilized to make some university, college, research center even it can become a public park for the entertainment of local public.

Really??? You must be kidding.. Rail Ki Bahali.. But when will this happen? for how long Govt will play these sentimental sentences and make general public fool. A silent message for All.

Please share with others

Common Man

Meet Mr Happy Khan from Mina Bazar Karachi, A Proud Chai wala serving in this hotel for more than 10 years, managed to get a chance to have few words with him, he was such a nice person that he offered me a free of cost tea just because we take some pictures of him and give him respect.
As living in metropolitan city, Chai becomes a part of our daily lives, and talking about people who are doing outdoor jobs they become addicted to it. But we all are so busy that we never notice that the person behind those chai stand and making tea for us is also human, he also need some attention and few words of appreciation from us.
Spread hope, spread pride. They are humans and proud of our society because they believe in hard-work and honesty.

Karachi The Land Of Oppurtunities

Pakistan is the first nuclear Islamic country in the world and the land full of opportunities,  on May 01 2015 German envoy declares Pakistan as land of opportunities. Talking about specifically my beloved city, it is considered as the bread earner for the whole country, even people from all over Pakistan came to this beautiful city with dreams in their minds to grow and prosper in future.

It is said that no one in this city sleeps empty stomach. City is famous for different shrines where thousands of people get food on daily basis, even so many NGO's are working that are providing food and shelter to different needy peoples. Edhi, Cheepa and Seelani Trust are working in this field since many years even any one can go there and have safe and healthy food, this help the poor and labors who cant afford food due to the inflation rate.

Karachi is the city which is representing Pakistan, In job sector there are almost people working from every part of the country, Yet is the most serving city of Pakistan. Every semester thousands of students are graduating from different universities and start to get accommodate in different industries. But due to so much graduates and skilled labor available and shortage of industry the city of dreams are running out of jobs.

Karachi was ranked as the cheapest city by Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in continuous second year. This low cost contributed to decrease the overall inflation of the country, even Mumbai, Banglore and Chennai are also the cheapest but it comes after Karachi in the list. Due to lack of products and replicas available easily in the city living in a luxurious environment is easy as compared to the other parts of country. Even living in 21st century has destroyed the budget of almost everyone due to so many options and luxurious which become a vital part of everyone's life. But if we look closely and observe everyone in this city is living his life and enjoying it, even a person who is earning 15K is also enjoying the life according to his budget and the person who is earning 1.5 LAC he is also enjoying the life in his budget. The reason is that city provides so many options for the same product that is available. Taking the example of clothing city has different malls according to the affordability of a person, even below the average people are able to buy their clothes from different Lunda Bazars and Light house.

Food Industry is on a boom in this city and that provides a lot of opportunists to the citizens, taking the example of restuarants and cafes every second person is stepping in this industry due to oppurtunities and growth. Dinning out becomes the part of everyone socializing, some use to drink tea on regular basis in Dhaba's and Chai corners some use to drink coffee at Gloria Jeans, it all depends on their affordability, but within their respectable budget they plan to hang out and dine out with their families and friends. Do Darya, Labor Camp and Super Highway becomes the most visited place for food lovers.

Talking about the online jobs, mostly every Karachian is attached with the social media and using it for different purposes, some are using it for only fun and some make it a better way to earn money, online jobs are available on almost every forum and people are earning a good amount from it. Social Blogs, online shopping, SEO's these all are contributing a lot to the society, even individuals own their websites and Facebook pages to earn good money, due to the increase in the trend of online business those who are good at using computers and have good ideas think out of the box and are earning handsome amount besides that they are running their own company that helps others to become a part of their organization. Taking the Example of www.lootlo.pk www.karachideals.com www.hoid.pk they all are contributing in the society in form of services and making job oppurtunities for the citizens.
