Independence Day with Independent persons.. Backbone of our society

Aging is the process of getting older, naturally we can't control or stop it yet we can cure it socially. In Pakistan the majority of the Aged persons are casualty of forlornness and dejection of not doing anything. In each home Aged persons who are resigned from their work are feeling misery, they don't have watching so as to anything to do and they include themselves TV or sitting with companions which for the most part make them weaker quick. As I am working on a theme "Happiness is a state of mind" on fourteenth August Friday I was welcomed by one of my companion to visit a Local Old age home in North Nazimabad named Vcair center, where an occasion was composed by Patriotic young ladies of Karachi University to share joy and commend the pride of freedom with old ones.

Day care administration implies from Morning till Evening association needs to work for their social, welfare, wellbeing and mental level. His table was full of cigarettes and lighters, while he quit smoking fifteen days ago.

 The second woman was Kher Un Nisa, she was another occupant living in the same Old age home she came here one week prior, on asking her age she answered with a beautiful smile, "I don't precisely know my age, may be my guardians realize that." She had put in a quarter century his spouse yet was not honored with any child, not long after the demise of his spouse she returned to his sibling's home. Where she was living yet because of tight timetable of entire family she was getting disregarded so her niece chose to send her to an Old age home where they will deal with her. By not specifying the name of the Old age home where she initially went to, she uncovered that that house was controlled by three sisters who charge cash from the family yet beats the senior persons and never permit them to have healthy food. After having deep conversation with the residents and the peoples of day care, I realized that how well this old age home is serving our senior citizens with respect and dignity and realizing them that they have to live their life instead of taking depression that they are retired and become burden on society. Awareness should be created among societies to promote Day care centers for senior citizens where they can enjoy their life with healthy activities.
